Win a 42" Samsung Plasma TV and other fabulous prizes worth thousands of dollars at the Multi-Chamber Extreme Block Party EXPO, April 30 at the Libertyville Sports Complex, Rt. 45/137. 

Show hours are 10 am to 3 pm. Admission is free.

The raffle drawings are also free to enter. The Grand Prize TV is provided by Aaron's Sales Sales and Lease, Rt. 45 & 60 in Mundelein. Aaron's offers rent to own furniture, electronics, appliances and other items. Raffle tickets are available at the EXPO and at Aaron's. Other prizes include entertainment packages, hotel stays, gift certificates, and more.

The Extreme Block Party is presented by the GLMV, Grayslake, Gurnee and Lake County Chambers of Commerce. Visitors will find  a retail marketplace of 70+ local vendors ranging from home improvement, health and beauty, self-improvement, financial, entertainment venues, community organizations and others displaying the latest products, services and resources. There will be special show offers and items for sale.

“This is no ordinary show!” said Alese Campbell, GLMV Executive Director.

Other highlights include the popular Traveling World of Reptiles Show, who will perform at noon for kids of all ages. The Reptile Show is sponsored by Carmel Catholic High School. Food sampling  includes Fodrak's hot dogs and Sweet Sheila’s gourmet popcorn.

Rounding out the day will be a Moonwalk sponsored by Children's Hospital of Wisconsin Vernon Hills Clinic, facepainting, games, giveaways, and more.

Vendor space is available for businesses looking to showcase their company to a large number of consumers.

The participating chambers point out that businesses will get the rare opportunity to meet face to face with local consumers, seeking their products, services and resources. As such, all businesses looking to reach the public are invited to participate.

Cost for a vendor table is $179 for Chamber members/$349 non members.
