Arooj Ahmad: 'We Need Change'
The Libertyville High School student wants to bring about change in education. What's his plan?
Libertyville High School student Arooj Ahmad has not shied away from his mission to change education.
He recently shared the accompanying video on YouTube to explain why he feels a change is needed and what can be done.
"School should not be about cramming for tests. Obviously, I can't be the only one who believes in it," Ahmad told Libertyville Patch last year.
What do you think about his plan to change education? Tell us in the comment section!

I agree with him. Poor schools ? should be learning to drive 18 wheelers---truck driving schools---learning industrial trades jobs. Poor kids ?? can't afford college, the majority will end up working minimum wage jobs.. Poor kids should go to college for free... One more thing, We have to stop outsourcing our jobs to China and we should hire America citizens only.

I agree with Ahmad.. Schools today are gear to students who are going to college to be doctors---nurses---teachers. What about others who can't go to college for what ever reasons ??? Those kids should be learning trade jobs----Electrician--roofing---truck driving jobs--welders---Mechanics---Furniture making----home building jobs---dry wall jobs, on and on.
