Gasoline Prices Drop in Libertyville

Moderating crude oil prices are the reason for the dip in prices, the Chicago Tribune reports.

 

Gas prices are finally going down for Libertyville drivers.

The average price of gasoline in the Chicago suburbs has dropped by 9 cents in the past week to $3.91 per gallon, the Chicago Tribune reports. The newspaper says moderating crude oil prices are the reason for the drop in price.

As of Monday afternoon, the following gas stations have the lowest prices in Libertyville, according to Mapquest:

  • $3.65, Marathon, 704 N. Milwaukee Ave.
  • $3.66, Libertyville Shell, 109 S. Milwaukee Ave.
  • $3.67, Park Shell, 1207 W. Park Ave.

Dip? What kind of propaganda is this. The average price of gas starting in 2013 in Illinois per gasbuddy was $3.24 a gallon now it is $3.87. Sure it has dropped a few cents per gallon in the past week. The media once again is missing the real story here but nobody can be surprised about that.
