I vote for Something's Brewing in Grayslake. Not only is the coffee great but the sandwich wraps are the best I have ever had.

CJ’s Coffeehouse is the only coffee shop that I know of in Lake County that roasts their own coffee and grinds it fresh in house every day. Everyone else uses commercial brands of coffee, which makes them all pretty generic. CJ's also hand makes all the doughnuts fresh daily and they have a great line of ice creams from Wisconsin. They are a quality committed establishment, but unfortunately they are a bit off the beaten path. I hope others in Lake county have tried CJ’s, if you haven’t, those with distinguished tastes are in for a treat; C J's Coffee House - 2352 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL 60099-2331 (847) 731-2208

The Hainesville Starbuck's, hands down. Truly the "Cheers" of coffeehouses, where everybody knows your name.

Something's Brewing in Grayslake is the best. Center St. location is my first choice, but I've enjoyed sips and bites at Washington St. and inside CLC!

I work at somethings brewing but I would never vote for it merely for that reason. I know it's past the cutoff but I still want to get my two beans it... sb is not the first coffee shop I worked at, and before I was an employee I was a customer. I applied for a job because the products we have are ones I wanted to stad behind. The drinks are delicious and each is made with care. Our beans are roasted locally and delivered to us on the day of the roast. All of us at the store take great care in rotating beans meaning everything is fresh and tastes awesome. When I make a latte I always steam the milk with great care so it comes out creamy with a perfect amount of foam at the top. I work mornings so a lot start out the day with a drink I make, so I try my best because I want to start their day right. Our customers are lovely because grayslake is a tight nit community. I love my job and I love our java.
