Advocate Condell Hospital is hosting a “Baby Homecoming” for children who were born at the hospital between October 2011 and October 2012.
Hospital officials estimate more than 2,500 babies were delivered there during the last year, and turnout of the babies and their families is expected to hover near that number.
The event will include photo opportunities, a visit from Ronald McDonald and Elmo, games and prizes, and raffles and refreshments for those in attendance.
There also will be a demonstration by Music in the Box, a music program for young babies and information about Stroller Strides, a fitness program for newly delivered moms.
If you are a parent of a child born at Condell Hospital during this period and have questions, contact Jennifer Johnson, Perinatal Education Coordinator at Advocate Condell Hospital, at 847-990-5407.
