Patch Is Collecting Questions for Obama and Romney During the Next Presidential Debate
If you have a question for the candidates, submit it in the comments section below and it could be asked during the televised Oct. 16 Town Hall Presidential Debate.
If last Wednesday’s presidential debate left you with more questions than answers, here’s your chance for the presidential candidates to address the issues that most matter to you.
The next presidential debate will be a town hall meeting format at Hofstra University in Long Island, NY, where voters will ask President Obama and Mitt Romney about domestic and foreign policy.
Patch is asking you, our readers, to participate by submitting questions for the candidates.
All you have to do is post your question in the comments section below and we’ll send it to the Commission on Presidential Debates. The Commission is partnering with Patch's parent company Aol, along with Google and Yahoo, to take questions from web users across the country.
Don’t wait until Nov. 6 to have a say in this year’s election. Share your thoughts in the comments!

Small business income flows through their individual tax returns. The tax hike proposed by President Obama on income of $250,000 or more will hit small business owners and create job loss or the close of many small businesses. Will this tax hike at this rate not affect business owners? Or why why this level chosen?

What is each candidate doing to lower gas prices. This would help stimulate the economy faster than anything.

Jose,
People from other countries seem to take on the jobs that many citizens think are beneath them.

Mr. Romney,
In addition to reproductive choices for women, are you opposed to any other women's rights? How do you feel about equal pay for equal work?

Mr. President,
What is the definition for "Affordable Health Care?"
If we are stuggling and are unable to afford health insurance, why are you wanting to include a penalty (tax) that would make it even more difficult to afford care that we desperately need. I've been self employed for 30 years. When I moved from CA to IL I was forced to get new insurance. The insurance industry is a fraud. The doctors do everything in their power to do what's right and the insurance industry does everything in their power to pry, diagnose, assume and deny coverage. They have their own rules!
At this point I have been denied coverage and to go with the state insurance is out of reach. I work on Commission. I get paid for what I "accomplish". I am not destitute but apparently the gov't would like me to be. Now what?????

JW DOUGLAS - West Virginia:
In his closing statement at the final debate, Romney should turn to the cameras and ask the viewing public: In the last 4 years, have you felt anyone was really in charge? While the Iranians were trying recently to hack into our financial and banking computer network, Obama was on Letterman laughing it up. Who was running the country?
