Police Blotter: Alcohol, Drug Arrests
The Libertyville Police Department reports arrests from Sept. 24-30.
These incidents were among the official reports of the Libertyville Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that decision.
Antonio N. Burt, 29, of 2017 Elizabeth St., North Chicago, was arrested Sept. 24 near Route 45 and Northwind Boulevard on a Lake County Sheriff's Office warrant for failure to appear. He was also cited for driving while license suspended, disobeying a stop sign, improper display of registration and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released on a $2,000 personal recognizance bond on Libertyville's charges and transported to the Lake County Jail on the warrant.
Driving While License Suspended
Ramon E. Nunez, 45, of 205 Lake St. Unit 2, Libertyville, was arrested for driving while license suspended Sept. 25 near Route 176 and Milwaukee Avenue. He was also cited for improper lane usage. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending a Nov. 14 court date.
Criminal Trespass to Land
Ryan S. Maccallum, 35, of 201 E. Cook Ave. No. 313, Libertyville, was arrested for criminal trespass to land Sept. 28 at Tommy's Bar & Pizza, 137 Lake St. He was released on a $120 personal recognizance bond pending a Nov. 21 court date.
Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
William J. Carroll, Jr., 48, of 10715 W. Eastwood Road, Beach Park, was arrested for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia Sept. 28 in the rear parking lot of Private Ink Tattoo Shop, 333 Peterson Road. He was also cited for unlawful possession of cannabis. He was released on a $120 personal recognizance bond pending an Oct. 17 court date.
Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance
Daniel P. McGovern, 20, of 2450 Palazzo Court, Buffalo Grove, was arrested on two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance Sept. 29 on the 400 block of South Milwaukee Avenue. He was transported to bond court.
Hugo Moreno, 20, of 1324 N. Lake Shore Drive, Round Lake Beach, was arrested for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor Sept. 30 on the 200 block of North Butterfield Road. He was released on a $1,500 personal recognizance bond pending an Oct. 8 court date.
