Community High School District 128 has received the Association of School Business Officials International’s (ASBO) Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting award.

The award is given in recognition of having met or exceeded the program’s high standards for financial reporting and accountability. The district received the recognition for its Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the fiscal year ending 2011.  This is the 15th consecutive year the district has received this honor.

Sponsored by VALIC, the Certificate of Excellence award confirms that school business office’s commitment to financial accountability and transparency. Recognition through the COE award can help strengthen a district’s presentation for bond issuance statements and promotes a high level of financial reporting.
