Calling all young writers and poets in grades fourth through eighth!
You have until April 8 to enter your original story or poem in the Cook Memorial Library's 7th annual student writing contest.
Submit your best creative writing piece, no longer than 3,000 words. One entry per author, and one author per entry only.
Enter on-line by 9 p.m. April 8. If your school is participating, submit your entry to your school by April 8.
Submissions will be entered for a chance to win the grand prize—publication in the library's literary magazine and an invitation to an exclusive signing party.
Winners will be announced May 3.
Entry forms are available at any of the Cook Memorial Public Library District facilities, on the library’s website, and at participating schools.
