Village officials are discussing what to do with the Bolander Building and property on Winchester Road. The building needs capital improvements that may not be justified with the property's low use level, said Village Administrator Kevin Bowens.

Hairspray Can Display Helps Libertyville Charity

Twenty artists created artwork using hairspray cans to promote Encore Theatre's production of Hairspray.

The artworks are displayed in the former Amazing Cosmetic location, 605 N. Milwaukee Ave.

The art pieces capture bands and musicians from the 1960s and will be auctioned off when the show runs July 14-16. Proceeds from the auction will be donated to a local charity.

Free Retiree Workshop Helps Rid Procrastination

The Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund will host a workshop on July 12 at Libertyville Sports Complex.
