A passerby found a body near the far western end of Butler Lake on Friday, according to Libertyville police Sgt. Dennis Meserve.

Hairspray Can Display Helps Libertyville Charity

Twenty artists created artwork using hairspray cans to promote Encore Theatre's production of Hairspray.

The artworks are displayed in the former Amazing Cosmetic location, 605 N. Milwaukee Ave.

The art pieces capture bands and musicians from the 1960s and will be auctioned off when the show runs July 14-16. Proceeds from the auction will be donated to a local charity.
