Another blast of winter weather could be headed our way.
The National Weather Service issued a winter storm watch for this afternoon and evening for part of northern Illinois, including Lake and McHenry Counties.
Overall, the National Weather Service has forecast snow totals of 6 inches or more. The precipitation is expected to start as rain and then transition to snow sometime during the afternoon.
