Coach Tim Haws couldn't be happier with his U-16 softball team, made up of daughters Margaret and Gabbie, and Libertyville girls he has coached for many years. In Independence Missouri, they have exceeded expectations and are 3 and 0 against some of the areas top teams. Despite heat up to 107 the girls are having fun and hitting hard, outscoring opponents almost 3 to 1 in pool play earning the number one seed. Their play has earned them the number 4 slot in power rankings in the State of Illinois in USSSA rankings in their division, and ranked #30 in the NATION as of today! Not bad for a neighborhood team.
