Calling all golfers! Grab your golf clubs and head to the links for the Green Oaks, Libertyville, Mundelein, Vernon Hills (GLMV) Chamber Annual Golf Outing, Monday, August 27. Each year, the GLMV Chamber holds its Golf Outing at a member golf course. This year’s outing will be at the Hawthorn Woods Country Club, the area’s newest Arnold Palmer Signature Designed championship golf course.

Nearly 150 business leaders and top representatives from companies throughout the GLMV will be teeing off for a great day of 18-holes golf, lunch, dinner, beverage, cocktail reception, networking, and a few surprises, at this prestigious private club.

Golfers begin the day with driving range practice and lunch, with shot gun start at noon. After golf, head back into the clubhouse for a lively cocktail reception and elegant buffet dinner. Additional features include raffles and contests, including a chance to win a 2 American Airlines roundtrip US tickets, and other fabulous prizes donated by local businesses. Golfers will head home at the end of a fun-filled event with awards and prizes.  

The format is a four-person scramble, with awards presented for low gross team, longest drive, straightest drive, longest putt, closest to the pin, Hole in One, and more. Individuals and teams at all levels are welcome. Don’t Golf? Join us for Dinner Only.
