The 2012 Greater Chicago Epilepsy 5K takes place on Saturday, May 12 at the Old School Forest Preserve in Libertyville, IL. An additional 5K takes place on Saturday, May 19 at Montrose Harbor in Chicago. This is the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago’s 11th annual 5K (3.1 mile) walk and run. Thousands of walkers and runners are expected to take part in the event. Proceeds from the 2012 Epilepsy 5K benefit the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago’s many programs and services for people living with epilepsy throughout Illinois.
