Find your roots with Steve Szabados, author of the book Finding Grandma's European Ancestors on Tuesday, Feb. 26 at 7PM. Steve will discuss how to find vital records for your ancestors in the "old country" and will also share resources beyond the traditional documents, which will enable you to gather documents, pictures and information to enrich your understanding and knowledge of your heritage. More About Cook Park Library
In 2011, Cook Park Library reopened adding new features such as a computer bank with 26 computers, a young adult area, three shelves packed with DVDs on both sides, a self checkout area, a magazine section, a study area and a state-of-the art children's section, which also has eight computers and a huge kids' DVD selection. The library also offers a variety of programs for kids, teens, and adults.
