DESCRIPTION:Rosalind Franklin University Health System (RFUHS) staff will
  provide free osteoporosis education and screenings for women on Monday\
 , Feb. 20\, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Central Lake YMCA\, 700 Lakeview Parkway
 \, Vernon Hills. This will precede the regularly scheduled visit of RFUH
 S&rsquo\;s mobile health unit there that day.\nThe program will provide 
 education\, risk assessment and bone density screening for osteoporosis.
  There will be a group educational session covering risk factors and wha
 t can be done to help prevent the morbidity and mortality associated wit
 h osteoporosis. The RFUHS staff will identify women at risk and provide 
 bone density screenings to those at risk. Women identified as moderate o
 r high risk on the bone mineral density (BMD) screen will then be referr
 ed to a health-care provider for treatment.\nWomen considered to be at r
 isk are encouraged to participate. They include:\n\n&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\
 ;&nbsp\; All women older than 65\n&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; All post-
 menopausal women younger than 65 with one or more risk factors&nbsp\;&nb
 sp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; \n\n&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;
 &nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\; such as reaching menopause before th
 e age of 45\nSpace is limited\, and advance registration is required to

 ollowing this program\, RFUHS&rsquo\;s Community Care Connection will be
  providing blood pressure\, blood sugar/diabetes and cholesterol screeni
 ngs plus BMI (body mass index) and waist measurements to persons of all 
 ages free of charge from 4 to 6:30 p.m. In addition\, those with questio
 ns about healthy eating can get answers from the registered nurse onboar
 d. Registration for the Community Care Connection screenings\, which are
  provided on a first-come\, first-served basis\, will begin around 3:30
