LAKE COUNTY, IL - "More parents are interested in seeking natural solutions for their children, in healthcare, with regard to their nutrition, and concerning the products used in their homes. The Holistic Moms Network offers a place where parents can learn more, connect with other parents, and share their experiences with each other,” remarks Nancy Massotto, Executive Director of the Holistic Moms Network (HMN).

The Lake County, Il. Chapter of the Holistic Moms Network holds their Grand Opening Celebration onTuesday, 13 December 2012 at 6:30 p.m. atSanctuary Yoga --- 502 Sheridan Rd. in Highwood, Il.

HMN - the rapidly growing national non-profit organization - provides support to moms and families interested in natural health, holistic living, and conscious living. Members of the Holistic Moms Network offer one another encouragement, convivial support and plentiful resources, while sharing information on a variety of topics including organic food and gardening, breastfeeding, compassionate communication, natural childbirth, low-impact living, green lifestyle, attachment parenting, mindful parenting, positive discipline and alternative medicine.

The organization, which was founded in New Jersey in 2003, currently has more than 100 chapters across the United States. Dr. Massotto attributes the remarkable growth of the organization to a “budding natural health movement” spreading across the country.

Moms, dads, grandparents, partners, other caregivers and wee ones are all welcome to both participate in the Grand Opening Celebration, enter to win prizes, connect with the community and join the organization.

The Lake County Chapter meets on the second Tuesday of each month at Sanctuary Yoga --- 502 Sheridan Rd. Highwood Il. 60040, 6:30-8:30 p.m. --- and welcomes volunteer guest speakers on a variety of holistic lifestyle topics.
