Following the Libertyville High School Homecoming Parade the Brainerd Building will be open for tours and a free continental breakfast. Tour the building and learn about the effort to restore the old high school into a community center for the arts. Once restoration is complete the Brainerd Community Center could be the home for community theater, concerts, dance, banquets, and special events. Petitions will be available to sign in support of the project to renovate and repurpose the building. Sunset Foods is providing the free continental breakfast.
