 \;s not-for-profit entertainment company\, stages the musical-comedy\, T
 hey&rsquo\;re Playing Our Song\, Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 at 7:30 pm and Dec. 
 2 at 3 pm.\nMusical-theatre icons Neil Simon and composer Marvin Hamlisc
 h teamed to tell this story of a romantic relationship between a neuroti
 c composer and a quirky lyricist\,&nbsp\; based on the relationship betw
 een Hamlisch and lyricist Carole Bayer Sager\, who penned the lyrics for
  this comedy. What is now a timeless classic enjoyed a Broadway run of m
 ore than 1\,000 performances and countless revivals and international to
 urs.\nHamlisch died at age 68 this August. His storied career is highlig
 hted at http://www.marvinhamlisch.com/. Liberty Town chose to do this sh
 ow\, in part\, as a tribute to one of Broadway&rsquo\;s brightest stars.
 \nThe local production stars Libertyville stage veterans Patrick Farbo (
 Musical Summer Showcase) and Penny Roman (I Love You\, You&rsquo\;re Per
 fect\, Now Change) and a Greek chorus of local talent including Irene Du
 charme\, Susie Aiello Kiefer\, Daniel Mendoza\, Javier Soler\, Patrick S
 cheibler and Jodi Thors.\nThe show is directed by Carley Wilson Alcorn\,
  who starred in last spring&rsquo\;s production of The Last Five Years\,
  and is music-directed by Laurel Ann Kaiser. In addition to Kaiser on ke
 yboards\, the production&rsquo\;s pit band includes Bill Coronelli (drum
 s)\, Bill Dejon (guitar)\, Ryan Stueckemann (bass) and Dennis Sullivan (
 trumpet).\nTickets for all three performances are available online via t
 he &ldquo\;box office&rdquo\; link at www.libertytownproductions.com. Pe
 rformances will be at the Libertyville High School Studio Theatre\, 708 
 W. Park Avenue\, Libertyville\, via the building&rsquo\;s north entrance
 . Tickets for the Friday and Saturday evening performances are $20 for a
 dults and $10 for students with i.d. Sunday&rsquo\;s encore&nbsp\; matin
 ee performance is a joint fundraiser with the Center for Companies That 
 Care (http://www.companies-that-care.org/) to support that organization&
 rsquo\;s &ldquo\;Invisible Differences&rdquo\; program. Sunday&rsquo\;s 
 tickets are complimentary\, but a donation to benefit both not-for-profi
 t organizations is requested. Available tickets will also be sold at the
  door. All seating is general admission with doors opening approximately
  30 minutes before curtain.
