  Green Oaks. &nbsp\;The contingent of original Open Studio artists makin
 g the move\, have changed the name to Open Studio 2 &ndash\; Artists for
  Animals\, adding their own gift of a ten percent donation of total sale
 s to Placing Paws of Illinois. &nbsp\;Hosting this year&rsquo\;s event w
 ill be Susan Slack of Farmhouse Creations Art Glass Studio.\n&nbsp\;\nOp
 en Studio 2 &ndash\; Artists for Animals offers a wide array of gift cho
 ices including animal paintings and cards\; diachronic glass\, glass ves
 sels\, lamps and jewelry\; hand-dyed silk scarves\; hand-bound books\; b
 eadwork\; gourmet edibles for humans and their pets\; turned wood vessel
 s\, pens and tops\; gourd vessels\, ornaments\, sculpture\, Santa Claus 
 figures and jewelry\; original\, one-of-a-kind fine jewelry\; hand-woven
  and hand-knit items\; plus some &ldquo\;surprises&rdquo\;.\n&nbsp\;\nPa
 rticipating artists will be in attendance to discuss their work and assi
 st customers in their choices.&nbsp\; 2012 artists include Carole Floate
  (Lake Bluff)\, Barbara Beckman (Libertyville)\, &nbsp\;Laurie Walker (G
 lenview)\, Mary Libby &ldquo\;Bib&rdquo\; Neiman and Paula Darbyshire (W
 ilmette)\, Gail Leider (Grayslake)\, Vivian Morrison (Antioch)\, Debby H
 enning (Sharon\, WI)\, and of course the host\, Susan Slack.\n&nbsp\;\nT
 his year&rsquo\;s preview night opens at 4PM\, Thursday\, November 29th 
 with wine and gourmet comestibles\, and closes at 8 PM.&nbsp\; The festi
 vities will continue Friday\, November 30\, and Saturday\, December 1\, 
 from 10  AM to 4 PM.&nbsp\; Attendees can peruse the selection of artwor
 k and gifts displayed in the four rooms of the three-day boutique\, whil
 e enjoying free coffee\, cider\, and finger food as they make their deci
 sions.\n&nbsp\;\nOpen Studio 2 is easily accessed from Hwy 94 &ndash\; s
 imply exit and briefly go west on Hwy 137\, turn left (south) onto Brook
 haven Drive\, then to the first left turn\, which is Glenwood Court---14
 084 Glenwood Court is at end of the court. &nbsp\;There is plenty of ava
 ilable parking on the street or in the wide driveway for sale customers.
