You may want to check out Libertyville-based Placing Paws, a 501(c)(3) organization that saves dogs and cats who are in danger of being euthanized at high-kill rural shelters and pounds.
Placing Paws has featured many of its available pets right here on Libertyville Patch. Here are a some of those animals:
- An 8-week-old mixed Shepherd pup.
- Three kittens and 10 dogs, all rescued from Missouri.
