Get Route 21/137 Construction Updates on Special Website
What's the status of the project?
Did you know that you can get updates on the construction project at Routes 21 and 137 on a special website?
The Illinois Department of Transportation set up the website, IL Rte 21 and 137 Project, to provide updates and encourage patronage of the businesses in the area. You can also subscribe to updates about the project by clicking the "Follow" button in the lower right corner.
According to the project website, construction is 50 percent complete. The anticipated final completion date is sometime in spring 2014, with the east half of Route 21 and north half of Route 137 being built from now until winter of this year.
