Today, Sept. 17, is Constitution Day

How much do you know about the Constitution?

Did you know that there are 4,400 words in the U.S. Constitution? And that Pennsylvania is spelled wrong (it's spelled with just one "n")? 

Those are just a couple of the interesting pieces of information shared on the Constitution Facts website

Today is Constitution Day, the day that marks the day the Constitution was signed in 1787 by 38 of the 41 delegates who were present at the end of the Constitutional Convention, according to the History website

Here are a couple of other facts about the Constitution, according to the Constitution Facts website:

  • Jacob Shallus "penned" the Constitution for just $30.
  • Benjamin Franklin was the oldest person to sign the Constitution.
  • The word "democracy" is never mentioned in the document.
