Adler Center Presents: 2012 Architecture Classes!!

The David Adler Music and Arts Center (1700 North Milwaukee Ave.) is excited to announce their Winter/Spring 2012 Sessions of Architecture Classes. 

ARCHITECTURE 101:  Ages 9-12.  An introductory class in architecture and exploring how shapes became the elements of all building design.  The class covers drawing floor plans and elevations, developing plans for your own home and presenting your personal design to a jury of design professionals.  Architecture 101 is a six week class from January 30-March 5.

ARCHITECTURE 102:  Ages 9-12.  102 continues the preliminary architecture class by allowing the students to learn how a building is constructed and then translating that into a drawing.  Students study and get hands on experience in the use of various construction materials and methods while learning perspective drawing.  The class culminates in the building technology learned in Architecture 102.  Architecture 102 is a six week class from January 30-March 5.
