Program information for Winter/Spring 2012 classes

 

The David Adler Music and Arts Center in Libertyville has just opened registration for all WINTER/SPRING 2012 programs. For full course descriptions, visit www.adlercenter.org or call (847) 367-0707.

ART INSTRUCTION:  Toddler and Pre-K classes are offered on Thursday mornings and include Toddling Together and Experience Art with Prehistoric Creatures . Youth classes on Monday afternoon/evenings will include Art Exploration Jr, Art Exploration and Painting. Additional Youth classes on Tuesday s are Clay Creations Jr, Clay Creations and Drawing. Teen /Adult classes on Wednesday evenings will be Adult Oil Painting ‘Paint Like Monet’ and Adult Drawing. Thursday classes will be Intro to Oil Painting and Watercolor Class.

NEW! SPECIAL ART OFFERINGS:  Youth Art Sampler – four mini-sessions offered Mon/Weds January 16-25. Students can register for any or all of these special sessions.   Colored Pencil Workshop for Teens/Adults on Tuesdays January 10-24. Individual Art Instruction and Senior Programming coming soon!

MUSIC INSTRUCTION: Individual lessons for all ages (4-senior) in Violin, Piano, Guitar, Voice, Drums, and Woodwinds are offered year-round with new student registration at any time.  Group lessons available for Guitar, Drums and Theory.

ARCHITECTURE INSTRUCTION: Youth classes offered Monday evenings in Architecture 101 and Architecture 102. Architectural History offered for Teens/Adults will be held on Thursday evenings.
