Advocate Condell partners with Lutheran General Children’s Hospital to bring new pediatric sub-specialists to Lake County

Advocate Condell Medical Center has partnered with its sister hospital, Advocate Lutheran General Children’s Hospital and the Advocate Medical Group to provide a pediatric sub-specialist physician clinic on the Libertyville campus of Condell Medical Center at 890 Garfield, Suite 202.  The clinic offers children’s specialists from one of the nation’s leading health systems.

Advocate Condell president Ann Errichetti, M.D., M.B.A., says our goal is to improve access to specialized care for families in the surrounding community.  Advocate Health Care treats more children than any other provider in Illinois. “In partnership with Advocate Lutheran General Children’s Hospital and Advocate Medical Group, we’re making it easy for families to receive specialized children’s medical care closer to home.”

“Advocate Lutheran General Hospital is the only full service children’s hospital in the north and northwest suburbs,” said Anthony A. Armada, FACHE, President Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and Advocate Lutheran General Children’s Hospital. Many parents are driving from Lake County to Lutheran General Children’s Hospital in Park Ridge for pediatric specialist appointments.  

Advocate Medical Group (AMG) is a physician-led medical group providing primary care, specialty services, outpatient services and community-based medical practices throughout Chicagoland and Bloomington/Normal.

Services provided

Pediatric cardiologists diagnosis and treat cardiovascular disorders including heart murmurs, congenital defects (pre- and post-operative care), arrhythmia, high cholesterol, chest pain, dizzy spells, and evaluations for fainting.   Echocardiology and EKG services are available.

Pediatric endocrinologists treat disorders including pubertal, thyroid, calcium, metabolic and reproductive disorders in adolescence as well as growth failure.  State-of-the-art diabetes care and education are also provided.

Pediatric pulmonologists provide children diagnosis and treatment of Chronic Lung Disease, including premature birth, congenital malformations, cystic fibrosis, immune deficiencies, sleep disorders and asthma.

Pediatric neurologists provide diagnosis and treatment of neurologic illnesses including seizures, attention deficit, tics, developmental and inherited neurological disorders, as well as migraines, cerebral palsy and head injury.
