CCU Introduces new Mortgage Servicing Manager and Director of Collections

Consumers Credit Union Welcomes Gene Seliger and Wendy Bartlett to management team

Libertyville, IL, July 23, 2013: Consumers Credit Union (CCU; $604 Million, Waukegan, IL) recently introduced two new additions to its management team.  Wendy Bartlett is the credit union’s new Mortgage Servicing Manager, while Gene Seliger was named Director of Collections for the Member-owned credit union.  Each of the new positions was created to better serve the evolving expectations of Consumers Credit Union’s Members, consistent with the vision of the credit union’s long-term strategic plan.

Wendy Bartlett joins CCU with an extensive Mortgage Servicing background, making her well-equipped for the challenges of her new position. A former Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac/MI Claims Supervisor, she brings a unique set of skills to the position of Mortgage Servicing Manager. Wendy’s responsibilities include reviewing the Mortgage Department’s processes and procedures for both compliance and efficiency purposes while developing new ideas to enhance cost savings for Members.  She is currently based out of the credit union’s Mundelein office.

Gene Seliger has years of experience in the financial field.  He brings a wealth of knowledge to his new position, with previous experience as Operations Manager and Regional Manager at multiple financial institutions.   Gene originally hails from Syracuse, NY, and now lives in Gurnee IL.  His responsibilities as Director of Collections include managing the day-to-day activities of CCU’s Collections Department and implementing new ideas and processes to reduce delinquencies.  Gene is located at the credit union’s Washington Street branch in Waukegan.
