Families in Gurnee are still displaced!

The holidays have come and gone - I hope everyone got to spend time with loved ones. The holiday season can be so overwhelming for many... imagine spending the holidays in temporary housing, without any of your own possessions? That must be so disorienting!

My neighbors have experienced this due to a fire... sure, their homes are being rebuilt and hopefully in the next couple months they will be able to move into their "new" home. The expenses they must be experiencing on top of the holidays must be enormous.

Please consider sharing this post with your friends and family. Let's show our neighbors how big our hearts are by donating a couple dollars towards helping them rebuild their homes and their lives. Won't you please consider donating $5?

Hopefully they have insurance to help them pay for rebuilding and temporary housing during this tragic event.

They do, but unfortunately it wasn't enough.
