Libertyville Township GOP Announces Primary Race Endorsements

(Libertyville, Illinois) -- The Libertyville Township Republican Central Committee has announced their endorsements for the upcoming March 18th, 2014 primary election. The committeemen voted during special meeting this past Saturday January 11th, which featured appearances by most candidates who will be on the Primary ballot in Libertyville Township, including most of the statewide office candidates.

Sixty Percent of the Committeeman’s weighted vote was required for endorsement.

Illinois Governor– Illinois Treasurer Dan Rutherford was endorsed for Illinois Governor.

Lake County Treasurer– Jeri Atleson was unanimously endorsed by the committeeman for the office of Lake County Treasurer.

Illinois Treasurer– Robert Grogan was unanimously endorsed for the office of Illinois Treasurer.
