Libertyville’s Big Air Dog Jumping Competition

Libertyville’s Big Air Dog Jumping Competition ends in a tie for first place. Brooks, a Pit Bull with owner Ben Lovinger and Lexi, a Min Pin with owner Gail Weil both pleased a crowd of over 1000 people at last Friday night’s local dog jumping competition.  In this competition, dogs run down a 40 foot dock and jump into a 27,000 gallon pool of water for distance. The dog with the longest jump…The Big Air Dog, wins! Brooks wowed the crowd with a jump of 16’. Lexi was reluctant at first, but with crowd support darted to a distance of 4 feet. With the multiplier factor because of Lexi’s petite size, she tied with Brooks. Bill Kaiser owner of Pampered Pup’z and producer of Dog Days of Summer said “Both dogs received 1st Place awards and a loud and long standing ovation from the crowd”.
