What to do on New Year's Eve: Join with family and friends to fight child hunger
There are plenty of things to do on New Year’s Eve, but perhaps none more rewarding than joining with friends and family to pack meals for starving kids at Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) at 742 E. Park Ave in Libertyville.
Special “Fully Invested” sessions are being offered from 7-9 pm and 10 p.m. to midnight in Libertyville and also at packing sites in Aurora and Schaumburg. For these “Fully Invested” sessions FMSC requires each packer to bring $50 to cover the cost of the meals.
In addition to this special "Fully Invested" session on New Year's Eve, FMSC offers packing opportunities at sessions on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays throughout the day and evening in Libertyville. To sign up, visit fmsc.org/volunteer
