Author Jodi Picoult to Visit Libertyville

Picoult will speak at Libertyville High School March 16, thanks to a partnership between the Cook Memorial Library District and the Lake Forest Book Store,

The Cook Memorial Public Library District, in partnership with the Lake Forest Book Store, welcomes bestselling author Jodi Picoult on Saturday, March 16 at 1 p.m. at the Libertyville High School Auditorium.

Picoult, whose latest novel, "The Storyteller," tackles the legacy of the Holocaust and questions of forgiveness, will speak to her fans and sign books.

Event admission is the advance purchase of "The Storyteller" ($28) from Lake Forest Book Store (www.lakeforestbookstore.com or 847-234-4420).
Picoult has published 19 bestselling novels, five of them debuting at number one on the New York Times bestseller list.

"The Storyteller" takes on the difficult subject of the Holocaust with a deft hand, intermingling four intersecting tales. Library Journal calls Picoult’s latest page-turner a “powerful allegory of loss, forgiveness and the ultimate humanity of us all.”

Picoult’s previous books include "Lone Wolf" (2012) and "My Sister’s Keeper" (2004).

The Libertyville event is part of Picoult’s limited U.S. tour and is a joint program of Cook Memorial Library District and Lake Forest Book Store.
