‘Coldest Air So Far This Winter’ Arrives; Wind Chill Warning Issued

Dangerous cold returned to the area Sunday night.

The “coldest air so far this winter” arrived Sunday night after a snowy day left a coating of snow, according to AccuWeather.

Monday's forecast high temperature is just minus 6, with wind chill values as low as minus 33. The wind chill values could reach as low as 41 degrees below zero Monday night and Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

wind chill warning will be in effect from 3 a.m. Monday until 9 a.m. Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
