will host an Open House on Sunday, October 9 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The free event at 1700 N. Milwaukee Ave. offers visitors a chance to learn about the facility and its offerings. Faculty and staff will be showcasing their talents, interactive art projects and free tours of the historic site.
Faculty musicians in areas of piano, violin, voice, drums and guitar will be performing in studios throughout the site and will be available to discuss their individual teaching methods with interested parties.
Art instructors will showcase their own talents as well as their students’ in the art studio to the rear of the facility and will also offer fun and interactive demonstrations for all age groups.
Tours of the Adler Home, part of the National Historic Registry, will be offered by staff and architecture faculty and complimentary refreshments will be available throughout.
