Delays Expected as Route 137/21 Construction Continues
A portion of Casey Road will be closed starting on July 15.
Delays are expected this week as construction continues on the Route 137/Milwaukee Avenue project in Libertyville, according to the Daily Herald.
Installation of precast sections for a pedestrian tunnel south of Casey Road is expected to start on Wednesday, July 10, according to the village of Libertyville website.
Weather-permitting, eastbound and westbound traffic on Route 137 will be placed on the newly constructed eastbound lanes on Thursday, July 11, according to the village's website.
Casey Road will be closed between Almond Road and Route 21 — for thru traffic — from Monday, July 15, 2013 to Monday, Aug. 5th.
