Please join us for the GLMV Jaycees 2nd Annual Bike Safety Day and FREE Community Picnic! This family-friendly, free event features bicycle safety checks and demonstrations, special entertainment from Pro-Riders, games and activities, safety talks given by police and emergency medical technicians, raffles and a free picnic!
The event will take place on Sunday, May 22 at Fair Haven Plaza, 612 E Hawley Street in Mundelein from 11AM-3PM. Event sponsors include Ray’s Bike and Mower Repair, The Pitch Bike Park, Signs Now Mundelein, Mundelein Police Department and the GLMV Jaycee’s.
Pro-Riders from The Pitch Bike Park will perform at 12PM and 2PM. Officers from the Mundelein Police Department will be give periodic 10-15 minute safety talks and Ray’s Bike and Mower will provide safety checks throughout the duration of the event. Children’s activities will be available brought to you by the GLMV Jaycees. Free hotdogs, chips and soft drinks will also be provided by the GLMV Jaycees, while supplies last
