• Why Go?: Adam Reed Tucker, LEGO artist and architect will discuss his work designing LEGO kits of the world's most renowned buildings.  He will also have some of his larger LEGO models on hand.  Children are invited to bring in their own LEGO structures and compete for the most original, most complex and tallest structure.

• Why Go?: Citadel Theatre and Lake Forest Open Lands are again joining forces on a theatre trek for the whole family, staging the romantic true-life story of Edgar Allan Poe amidst the gorgeous fall backdrop of Lake Forest Open Lands’ Mellody Farm Nature Preserve.

• Why Go?: Kids ages seven to 12-years-old will learn simple rules for responsible self-care. They will be taught how to use a house key, how to properly answer the phone and the door and how to use the phone in an emergency. Kids will also learn safety precautions that will help to prevent fires. A Home Alone Activity Book and Certificate of Completion will be given to each participant.
