Groot Garbage Collection Delayed Due to Weather
Groot will not collect garbage and recycling on Monday, Jan. 6 because of the extreme temperatures and snow accumulation. Collection will resume Tuesday.
The Village of Libertyville posted this announcement on the village website regarding tomorrow's garbage collection:
Groot has informed us that landfills will officially be closed tomorrow due to the weather. Therefore, garbage service will be delayed this week. Monday pick-up will be Tuesday, Tuesday on Wednesday, Thursday on Friday and Friday pick-up on Saturday.
