Libertyville Festival Offers Free Ticket for Volunteers

The second North Shore Wine, Beer, Cigar, and Food Festival is still looking for volunteers.

Love wine, beer, cigar and food? A fundraiser to save the Brainerd Building is still looking for volunteers.

is offering a free ticket, worth $35, to people who help get the festival on the road. Volunteers also will receive a souvenir glass and 10 tastes at the festival.

The festival will feature more than 350 wines and 150 beers and eats from restaurants, such as MainStreet Smokehouse, Morgan’s Bar & Grill, Wisma, Sunset Foods, Tacos el Rey de Oro and Nirana Wine & Grillerie.

Apart from feeding your belly, the festival also will feature performances to fill your soul, with music by The New Libertyvillians, John Harvey, Brian McDermot and Weekend Vinyl, with Elite DJs during the breaks.

The festival will take place rain or shine on the grounds of the Brainerd Building from 3 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 27.
