Pumpkin Party, Self-Defense Class This Week

What are your plans for the week?

Are you looking for something to do this week?

If you've ever wanted to learn how to defend yourself, you might want to sign up for District 128's "Brave Way" self-defense class on Wednesday. Or perhaps you want to take your children over to Sunset Foods on Saturday to carve pumpkins.

Here's a look at some events coming up this week:

Village Board Meeting

Libertyville trustees will hold their regular meeting at 8 p.m. Oct. 22 at Village Hall. Items on the agenda include the approval of the commercial garbage franchise, the purchase of rock salt and awarding of a snow removal contract. Check out the agenda here.

Self-Defense Class

The District 128 Community Education Program will offer the Brave Way self-defense class from 7-9 p.m. Oct. 23. The cost is $25 per person. Find more information about the class here.
