Lake County Fair Sees Steep Decrease in Attendance

The Lake County Fair was held from July 24 through July 28.

The Lake County Fair saw a steep drop in attendance this year and fair officials say last week's dismal weather is to blame, according to the Daily Herald. 

The five-day event, which was held last week, had 83,486 stop out, which is down 8.8. percent since last year, according to the Daily Herald. With a full day of rain and severe weather later at night, only 7,904 stopped out on Friday, which is a 56 percent drop compared to last year when 18,046 stopped out on the Friday, according to the Daily Herald.
