A Look at 'All Shook Up': Samantha Ross

The Encore Theatre will present the musical "All Shook Up" April 12-14 at St. Lawrence Episcopal Church. The production features the music of Elvis Presley and is about "a guitar-playing roustabout" who comes to town and "changes everyone and everything he meets," according to the Encore Theatre website. Role: Sylvia

1. What do you love about playing Sylvia?

It's a really fun character to play. She's really sassy and outgoing and I find it fun because it's out of my comfort zone.

2. What's your favorite song in the musical?

"There's Always Me." It's my solo song. It's the son where a woman tells someone she's been friends with for a long time that she's falling in love with him.

3. Why should people come out to see this production?

I think they should come and see it because it just gets everyone moving and the music is amazing.
