Character: Tessa and Jessica are sharing the role of Gavroche.

Tell me about Gavroche.

  • Tessa: He wants to be in the battle, but it doesn't work out.
  • Jessica: He's a young kid.
  • Tessa: He's saying he's strong and that he's little and can get the ammunition from the other side. He ends up dying.
Tell me about the production.
  • Jessica: It's all singing. We are one of the characters that does have some lines. It's different, because with most other productions, you had to memorize lines.
  • Tessa: It's easier to memorize songs. But most of the songs are so long. It's like a non-stop show. It's great. And the character is so fun.
What's your favorite song in the production?
  • Tessa: "The Second Battle" because I die.
  • Jessica: When Phoebe sings "On My Own," and "A Heart Full of Love." They're just so beautiful.
