The Green Team of, 429 Brainerd Ave., Libertyville, invites residents to view the documentary movie "King Corn" at the Church on Thursday, 17th November at 7:30pm, to find out why our bodies are primarily made out of corn.
"King Corn" is a well made, thought provoking, and sometimes humorous movie that shows how almost every product on our grocery store shelves is ultimately derived from corn, either in the form of high fructose corn syrup or corn -based animal feed, to the great detriment of our health. ("Sustainable Table").
There is no charge and there will also be free popcorn.
