Libertyville Art Studio Offers New Workshop

The workshop teaches people how to print digital images on a specialty material that adheres on many surfaces and materials.

A Libertyville art studio is offering a workshop that melds digital images with the rich material world of painting through mediums such as paint skins, tinfoil and more.

Lake County artist Sandra Bacon, who created a globe in Millennium Park, will be teaching the workshop titled Digital Grounds at , 344 N. Milwaukee Ave.

“Learn to use your home printer and create photographic transfers, cards, collages, and paintings,” Bacon wrote in an email. “We’ll supply the grounds and some new paint skins. You supply the images and we will experiment as well as create beautiful images.”
