Name: Linda Klepac

Town: Libertyville

Role: Director

Tell me about the production.

The show itself is actually really sweet. When you look at it, it's very appropriate for now. There's a single mother raising girls. It's about young love. You don't realize that when you sit down to watch it. The music helps update it.

Tell me about the music.

There are lots of solos and duets. The music is very touching. The harmonies are beautiful.

How many people are in the cast?

15. It's a multi-generational cast, with freshmen up to mature, grown men and women. The cast is appropriate to the ages in the show.

Why should people come out to see this production?

It's a really nice thing for families to see. It's something that's very entertaining and very clean and it makes people look at families again. For kids who have read the novel, it gives them familiarity with it. And it's good. (The cast members) are the best of the best in this area. I have directed 200 shows, and this has the potential to be my best show. That's how good they are.
