What have you been working on as the director's assistant?

The set, and trying to organize who is moving what and where everything goes and what needs to be changed. And the props.

What would surprise people most about what goes on behind-the-scenes?

It's a lot more work than they think it is. It's not just, "Let's bring this set piece on." We have to plan who's doing what.
