Special Guest Instructors Coming to Dancenter North

Professional dancers that have been featured in the Milwaukee Ballet and have performed with the likes of Beyonce will serve as special guest instructors at Dancenter North next month.

Ballet and jazz students will have the unique opportunity to get inspired by dance masters with Dancenter North's unique classes next month.

Registration is now being accepted for Ballet Inspiration, to be held June 3 and 5. The cost is $25 per class, or $45 for two classes.

Instructors include Courtney Kramer and Marc Petrocci.

Kramer is in her eighth season with the Milwaukee Ballet and has enjoyed dancing in many roles choreographed by Michael Pink, Matthew Neenan, Lila York and many others.

Petrocci is in his tenth season at the Milwaukee Ballet as a principal dancer. In 2010, he was privileged to have the role of "Peter Pan" created for him by Michael Pink of Milwaukee Ballet for his world premiere.

A Jazz Inspiration class will be taught by Lindsey Jones Lococo and Ricky Ruiz.

Lococo is currently the UIC Spirit Coordinator and head coach for the UIC Dancing Flames. Professional performances include performing with Beyonce for the Oprah Farewell Spectacular.

Ruiz has traveled the country as a guest teacher and choreographer for Chicago based companies such as River North, Thodos, and Danceworks Chicago.  He is currently on staff at Visceral Dance Center and the Jazz & Contemporary Director at the Academy of DanceArts in Downers Grove.

Classes are scheduled for June 4 and 6. The cost is $25, or $45 for two jazz classes.

Students also have the option of registering for "Total Inspiration", which includes both ballet and all one jazz class for $85.
