It's safe to say we won't see another team like this for some time to come. The Libertyville girls basketball team that refused to lose this year finally tasted defeat on Monday night at the Mundelein Sectional. The girls had a fabulous season and broke the schools record for most wins in a row.

At a recent Dymond Road Project open house, some residents said additional parking spaces would not be needed in the area. However, the village still plans to add 22 parking spots around Dymond road. Public Works Director John Heinz told Streets Committee members that the additions would alleviate parking issues on Dymond Road, as there currently are no formal parking areas. Construction is expected to start around May 1.

On Feb. 18, police arrested Wisconsin resident Ryan Mikulski for allegedly stabbing a Grayslake resident in a parking lot in the 100 block of Cook Avenue. The victim was transported and treated at .
