The Village of Libertyville is reminding residents to be alert when near schools with students returning to classes this week.
The village shared this message on its website:
Many of our students will soon be out and about on foot, walking to and from school. Please be aware of pedestrian traffic. As the 2013-14 school year opens, car traffic increases, so please be alert around the schools as students are dropped off for class or early activities. Please pay attention to signage at the schools related to parking and no cell phone use in a school zone. We all need to work together to keep our children safe.
